CafePress.com accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and check cards, as long as they are connected with one of the major credit card companies listed above. You can safely enter your entire credit card number via the CafePress secure server, which encrypts all submitted information.
Paying by Check Card
If you're paying with a Visa Check Card, or MasterMoney Card enter it as if it was a regular credit card.
Authorizing Your Credit Card
When you place an order with CafePress, they will contact your credit card's issuing bank to confirm that your credit card contains a valid number and has not been reported as lost or stolen. They do this by requesting authorization for the sale. They don't actually charge your card at this time. CafePress will never charge your card for the items in your order until they are ready to ship them.
It is not uncommon for a request for credit card authorization to fail once or twice before the card is finally authorized. CafePress will send you an e-mail if they experience difficulties in authorizing your credit card.
You are always welcome to submit new credit card information to CafePress for a particular order, provided that the order has not yet entered the shipping process.
Sales Tax
Sales tax will be applied to orders shipped to a California or Kentucky address.
